How to make an AI video in three steps
- Choose a model. Veo 3.1 Lite is selected by default because it is the most affordable model that also generates sound. Open the model list to compare the others; each one shows its starting price in credits.
- Describe the shot or upload a photo. In Text to video mode you write what should happen. In Image to video mode you upload a starting frame and describe the motion. Pick the length, resolution and aspect ratio, and the exact cost appears before you spend anything.
- Generate and download. Press Generate video, wait a minute or two, then watch the result in the browser and download the MP4. Every clip is kept in My videos, so you can come back for it later.
There is nothing to install and no editing skills are required. If your idea is only a few words long, the Improve prompt button rewrites it into a detailed shot description — subject, action, setting, camera movement, lighting and sound — which usually gives the models much more to work with.
Seven video models in one place
Each AI video model has its own strengths, and the best one changes every few months. Instead of paying for separate subscriptions, you can try them all here and pay only for the clips you make. Prices below are for a default-length clip; shorter, silent or lower-resolution clips cost less.

Seedance 2.5 from ByteDance builds cinematic sequences with several shots in one clip. Wan 3.0 from Alibaba produces smooth, stable motion up to 1080p. MiniMax H3 Max Turbo is the newest model on the list and follows long, specific prompts closely, while Grok Imagine 1.5 from xAI is quick and great for stylized ideas.
Text to video or image to video?
Text to video creates everything from your description, so it is the fastest way to explore an idea, test a concept for an ad or make B-roll that does not exist yet. The trade-off is control: two runs of the same prompt will not look identical.
Image to video starts from a picture you provide — a product photo, a character design, a frame from your storyboard or a portrait — and animates it. Because the first frame is fixed, the look stays consistent, which makes it the better choice for branded content, product shots and any series where the same character has to appear again. A clean, well-lit image at the aspect ratio you want gives the best results.
Prompt tips that make a real difference
Video models respond to the same things a director would put in a shot list. A good prompt usually covers five parts:
- Subject and action — who or what is on screen and what they do: “a golden retriever catches a frisbee mid-air”.
- Setting — where and when: “on a windy beach at sunset”.
- Camera — framing and movement: “low-angle tracking shot, slow motion”.
- Light and style — “warm backlight, shallow depth of field, 35mm film look”.
- Sound for models with audio — “waves crashing, a dog barking happily, no music”.
Keep one main action per clip, describe motion with verbs rather than adjectives, and put any spoken line in quotes. If something keeps going wrong, remove words instead of adding them: shorter prompts with one clear idea are easier for a model to follow than long lists of details.
What people make with an AI video generator
- Social media clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts in vertical 9:16, from hooks and memes to looping backgrounds.
- Product and ad creative — animate a product photo, test several concepts in an afternoon, and keep the winners.
- B-roll and explainers — establishing shots, cutaways and visual metaphors for YouTube videos and presentations.
- Music visuals and art — moods, abstract motion and stylized scenes that follow a track.
- Storyboards and pre-visualization — rough out a film or commercial before anyone picks up a camera.
Simple pay-per-clip pricing

Frequently asked questions
Is this AI video generator free?
Every new account gets 60 free credits, enough for one 6-second Veo 3.1 Lite clip with sound. After that you buy credit packs starting at $9.90; there is no subscription and credits never expire.
Which AI video model should I choose?
Start with Veo 3.1 Lite: it is the cheapest model with native audio and handles most everyday prompts well. Move to Veo 3.1 Fast for dialogue and realistic people, Kling 3.0 Turbo for fast action, Seedance 2.5 for cinematic multi-shot scenes, and MiniMax H3 Max Turbo when your prompt is long and specific.
How long does it take to generate a video?
Most clips finish in one to three minutes. Premium models and 1080p take longer. You can close the tab while a clip renders; it is saved to My videos as soon as it is done.
What happens if a generation fails?
If a model errors out or declines your prompt, the video is marked as failed and the credits go straight back to your balance. You only pay for clips that actually render.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes. You can use the videos you generate in ads, social posts and client work, as long as the content follows our Terms of Service and the model providers’ usage policies. We do not add a visible watermark.
Can I turn a photo into a video?
Yes. Switch to Image to video, upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image and describe the motion you want. The model keeps your image as the first frame and animates it, which is the most reliable way to control characters, products and layouts.
What length and resolution can I get?
Depending on the model, clips run 4 to 10 seconds at 480p up to 1080p, in landscape, portrait or square formats. Longer stories are made by generating several clips and editing them together.
Do you store my prompts and videos?
Your videos are stored in your private library until you delete them, so you can download them again later. Prompts are sent to the model provider only to render your clip. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
